Ferry Commuters Leaving Jersey City, 2014

25.00 $

I observed New York City, the economic hub of America, off in the distance as commuters waited to board the ferry in Jersey City. From here they would travel the short distance between New Jersey and New York, the Hudson River acting as the physical separator between home and work. Once across the river they had to operate in accordance with a different schedule. I too would have to cross the river. Not just yet though.

There was a beautiful sunrise in the distance. I remained on the dock and watched it a while.
